Okinawa Day

Okinawa Day returns to Spitalfields E1 welcoming new music and dance performers, Karate groups and stallholders to celebrate the joy and energy of Okinawan culture.

The Committee of Okinawa (the southernmost islands of Japan) aims to showcase Okinawan culture and enrich the existing relationship between Okinawa and the UK.

This family friendly cultural day will offer visitors off all ages the opportunity to immerse themselves in the unique culture of Okinawa. Traditional and modern music will be accompanied by children’s activities, karate and dance displays and of course plenty of authentic Okinawan cuisine.
